Our Mission

Know the meta, beat the meta.

The contributors have been around to see (and even played important roles in) the development and usage of progressive arguments in PF. Because of this, we've also seen backlash, which is understandable. People don't like the unknown - it feels terrible when you can't re-explain the RFD back to your coach or your peers because it was a theory round.

However, instead of getting bitter, we suggest getting even. Using available resources (such as those on our website, along with the openCaselist wiki for Policy and LD, and round recordings of high-level debates in Policy and LD), we think that debaters should learn how to engage in progressive debate in order to beat it. This enables progressive debate to move forward, while not leaving people behind.
